Benniman’s delivery of a 72,000 sq ft warehouse scheme in Worcestershire has been awarded top marks by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) – the second project to achieve the feat in the same week.

The construction site at St. Modwen Park Broomhall received a maximum 45 points from CCS following an independent assessment. It was deemed to demonstrate excellence in all three CCS categories: respect the community; care for the environment; and valuing the workforce.

St. Modwen Park Broomhall is the second maximum score that Benniman has achieved in the space of just seven days, having recorded the same feat at its site at Plot 300 Bramley Drive, Evesham.

The contractor is currently building a new 101,000 sq ft unit for tile flooring company, Karndean Designflooring, on behalf of Bramley 300 Ltd.

Andy McNair, Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Director at Benniman, said: “As a business we’re fully committed to raising standards in the construction sector and work hard to build trust with the public. To achieve a top-scoring CCS project is hugely pleasing, so we are especially thrilled to receive two maximum scores in the same week.”
